Job Description:

The Material Handler plays a key role in ensuring that materials and
components required for the production of RMUs (Ring Main Units),
electrical panels, switchgear, and other electrical equipment are always
available, organized, and correctly managed. This position requires the
individual to coordinate between the store and team leaders, making sure
the production team has access to the necessary consumables and
components for assembly and manufacturing. The role also includes
receiving, inspecting, storing, and delivering materials, maintaining inventory records, and supporting the smooth flow of operations.

Required Skills:

1. Coordination: Strong ability to liaise between store and team leaders to ensure
timely material availability.
2. Material Handling: Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes to safely
move materials.
3. Electrical Components: Knowledge of RMUs, switchgear, panels, and other
electrical components.
4. Inventory Management: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage
stock, reorder materials, and conduct audits.
5. Organization: Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly storage and accurate
material tracking.
6. Documentation: Ability to manage material records, report transactions, and
generate usage reports.
7. Communication: Effective communication with team leaders, procurement, and
other departments.

Required Experience:

1. More than 5 years of experience material handling in an electrical
manufacturing or industrial environment.
2. Experience coordinating between stores and production teams.
3. Familiarity with electrical components like RMUs, switchgear, transformers,
and panels.
4. Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
5. Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment.
6. Preferred: Background in electrical manufacturing or panel assembly.
7. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
