Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in engine room operations, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of vessel machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks in the engine room.
- Assist in watchkeeping duties as part of the engine room team.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational protocols.
- Conduct inspections and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certification and Documentation:
- Proof of dedicated training as a Rating forming part of an Engine Room Watch.
- Endorsement for Regulation III/4 or III/5.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Current STCW certificates.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
