Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tug Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of ASD Harbor Tugs, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and standards.
Job Location:
Saudi Arabia (Al Jubail)
Key Responsibilities:
- Command and manage tug operations for harbor assistance and other related activities.
- Ensure compliance with all maritime safety standards and regulations.
- Supervise and train crew members as required.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections to ensure vessel readiness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certificates and Endorsements:
- Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) with tonnage limitations of less than 500 GT, endorsed by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).
- Valid Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) General Operator Certificate (GOC).
- All required STCW certificates, including:
- Advanced Fire Fighting (Adv F/F).
- Medical First Aid/Medical Care.
- Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB).
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR).
- Personal Survival Techniques (PST).
- ISPS Ship Security Officer Certification.
- Medical Requirements:
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate approved by the flag administration or a medical center authorized by the Mercantile Marine Department of the candidate’s country of origin.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Tug Master on ASD Harbor Tugs.
