Job Description
Maintenance Manager is professional who make sure that all of the equipment in
an office, building, or landscape is taken care of.
Job Responsibilities
- Â Manage energy consumption related to factory cost and savings.
- Responsible in developing and driving an effective maintenance program to
sustain plant operations. - Mentor and coach team members and seek better ways to improve operations.
- Motivate and drive maintenance team into maximizing equipment performance
and downtime. - Prepare, maintain, and monitor maintenance budget expenditure.
- Implement effective quality and safety compliance system.
- Cooperate with QA/EHS to lead and implement and maintain requirements.
- Participate in reviewing product / service complaints, root cause analysis and
support improvement and modification works. - Review and approve all project plans and specifications; sign off on completion
and appropriate intervals and upon completion of project. - Hire, train and mentor and manage the performance of engineering personnel
- CAD operators and other support personnel for engineering department.
- Determine and communicate project requirements, specifications, goals and
objectives. - Schedule and make assignments as needed, as well as procurement for
necessary supplies, equipment and ancillary services. - Oversee all engineering and related projects, services and functions.
- Ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and
existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. - This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of
mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment (including software programming). - Includes people management and budgetary/cost reporting.
- This role may report into either the Head of Manufacturing or the Head of
Engineering. - Overall, Purpose of the Role: Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
- Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, meantime between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
- Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
Job Specification:
- 15+ years of experience in Maintenance
operations including 7 years of experience
in a managerial role - Completed a fully indentured apprenticeship
with a mechanical/ electrical/ electronic
discipline - Proficiency in written and verbal Arabic
and English language
