Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • QAD ERP business process optimization and automation.
  • QAD ERP related development and enhancements (like Browses, Reports, Utilities,
  • CIM load automation, Dashboards, and others).
  • Develop functional specifications, test cases, and validation plans for QAD ERP related program changes.
  • Research, test and implement ERP related solutions like QAD addon modules,
    integrations etc… to meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with business process owners to streamline processes through better
    use of systems and support various projects.
  • Plays a key role in QAD ERP transformation projects.
  • Training and support to QAD ERP users.
  • Ensure proper backup and restore strategy.
  • QAD ERP security and system administration.
  • Flexible to work outside office hours as required.

Knowledge & Experience

  •  QAD ERP System (preferably latest version of QAD EE).
  • Software development with Progress OpenEdge Database (4GL)
  •  .Net, C#, ASP.Net Core, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  •  RDBMS technologies like PROGRESS, SQL etc.
  •  Automotive manufacturing industry processes.
  •  Analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions
  •  API development using REST, SOAP…
  •  OS Platforms: Windows, Linux Server

Skills

  • Display sound communication skills while acting as a point of contact for end
    users. Persistent, level- headed and cool under pressure.
  • Highly confident with providing support and training to users.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous with a keen desire to deliver the highest quality
    solutions to clients and setting high standards for excellent client service.
  • Passionate about solving complex problem and providing ingenious solutions.
  • Go-getter with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities them.
  • Understands the value of business analysis for the organization.
  • A team player working closely with end users and process owners
