Job Description
Organize, monitor, and control the assembly area regarding assigning employees, working procedures, material, processes and tools to meet the  safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Saudi Arabia (Riyadh)
Job Responsibilities:
- Enforce safety; supervisor must be willing to monitor safety not only in their department but through-out the facility.
- Analyzes productivity and quality trends; develops plans and procedures to improve performance.
- Work closely with quality and engineering department.
- Identifies improvements to reduce waste and meet customer expectations.
- Determines manpower requirements, resolves scheduling and capacity issues.
- Works with productions scheduling to maintain an adequate work for material flow.
- Responsible for managing and approving employee timecards, vacation, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) labor hours.
- Sets work schedule and determines overtime requirements for work force.
- May be required to work longer hours to ensure that all goals are achieved.
- Interfaces regularly with quality, engineering department.
- Coach, train, and motivate employees to be successful.
- Conducts/supervises problem solving meetings, ensures prompt follow-up/implementation of solutions.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies in training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Responsible for Workplace organizational and housekeeping methodology i.e. – Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain (5S) of the department.
- Reports any unsafe conditions.
- Organize, lead, and execute improvement projects and activities.
- Provide support to technicians by coordinating answers to technical and quality questions; coordinate actions with support functions to resolve issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators for workstations. If necessary, initiate measures to resolve or avoid problems.
- Conduct meetings with respective team members, discuss the status of production operations, inform team about safety issues & quality issues.
- Plan, assign and assist in the training and development of employees; track progress by updating the skills matrix and development plans.
- Handling of internal & external ISO audit. (Documentation, processes, employee trainings)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Create his own backup for vacations /holidays.
- Open to within department or inter-department Cross Training.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Associate Degree Manufacturing, Engineering.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess good written/oral communications skills as well as the ability to present his/her views in a clear and compelling manner; able to deal effectively with broad range of personalities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to read assembly blueprints, use micrometers, calipers, height gauges and dial indicators.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge in Package Sub-station, LV Switchgear, LV Panel Boards and Distribution Boards.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to figure, handle, feel and control objects or tools. The employee is regularly required to stand and occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrates knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for supervised groups. Understand and apply supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
- Must possess strong digital literacy with self-directed learning of other applications – including all office applications and prefer experience using SAP.
- English Language Candidate must have professional written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills to communicate and interact effectively as a leader for the facility and assigned production area.
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Lean Manufacturing Advanced knowledge of lean principles and techniques for optimizing processes and eliminating waste.
- Leadership Knowledge of leadership techniques for motivating and engaging a team to achieve a vision.
